The Blue Horizon
The Blue Horizon is located centrally, close to many of the east side attractions. Just about 15 minute drive to Hilo, the island’s largest city with its many restaurants, museums, University, theaters, parks and beaches. Only about 25 minutes to Volcano National Park and about 20 minutes to the Lava Flow Viewing Site. Waterfalls and scenic drives, rainforest, old lava flows all are close by. The warm ponds are about 15 minute drive. The quaint village of Pahoa is about 10 minutes drive, with its colorful old western style buildings, banks, ATM’s, and restaurants. Keeau is also about 10 minutes and has several restaurants, hardware store, bank and a few stores.
